Résolu Help DDR3 Kingston Hyper X 2400 MHz Bridé a 1200 MHz

Salut a tous.

Ma config :
Carte Mère : MSI Z97 GAMING3 Socket 1550
CPU : i7 4790 3.6 GHz (4.0GHz en boost)
RAM : Kingston HyperX 2400 MHZ 4GBx2
GPU : Nvidia Geforce GTX 970

Bios Dernier en date d'après MSI Live Update 6
Tout les drivers a jours d'apres driver Booster et ma-config.com et NVIDIA

Mon souci est aussi avec ces satanées DDR3 Kingston HyperX 2400 MHz ... sous le bios elle sont reconnues à 2400MHz mais une fois sous win elles sont détectées comme des 1200MHz avec tout les logiciels testés (le dernier HWINFO64)

J'ai donc testé en 2133 comme conseillé dans un autre sujet et là elle sont détectées en 1081 MHz ...
J'ai éssayé les 2 profils XMP et ca me donne du 800 MHz ou du 1200 MHz ...
J'ai activé le OC Genie et ca ne change rien ...
J'ai éssayé avec et sans le Dual-Chanel et toujours pareil ....
Pas encore essayé en Manuel et sincèrement ca m'fou les chtons ^^

J'ai bien été sur la page de compatibilité de MSI Z97 Gaming 3 et mes barrettes y sont bien en compatible a 2400MHz

Le souci c'est que vous avez écrie qu'il fallait O.C le proco pour pouvoir utiliser les barrettes a 2400MHz mais le i7 4790 (sans k) n'est pas overclockable ...

Il est bien précisé que cette carte mère supporte la ddr3 3300MHz (o.c)
Moi j'veux bien mais comment j'O.C tout ca :(

EDIT3 : Juste pour savoir ... les 2400 MHz c'est 1200 MHz x 2 ?
Genre Barrette 1 = 1200 MHz
Barrette 2 = 1200 MHz
Dual Link = (Barrette 1) 1200 MHz + (Barrette 2) 1200 MHz = (Barrette 1 & 2) 2400 MHz ?
Ou est ce que chaque barrette doit tourner a 2400 MHz ?

Sérieux mets un screen de CPU-Z ça sera plus clair.
Ta RAM, t'as un lien vers le modèle ?
De ce que je lis c'est de la PC 12800, soit 1600Mhz extrapolé, 800Mhz en réel, je ne sais pas d'où tu tiens qu'elle tourne à 2400Mhz.

On se passe des lignes superflues hein.

Bref, de la PC 19200 !! Victoire on sait de quoi on parle.
Donc en effet elles devraient tourner à 2,4Ghz.

Un truc me chiffonne, dans le premier post un logiciel identifie une barrette en PC 12800... vérifie quand même ce qui est écrit sur tes barrettes.

Par contre, apres avoir lu le guide de la CM, je vois qu'il conseil de mettre les barrettes en slot 2 et 4 alors que je les ai placé en slot 1 & 3 mais le dual channel est quand même activé, le problème peut il venir de là ?

Bon, j'apporte la vrai bonne réponse.
Alors il est vrai que la fréquence des ddr est toujours de moitier, premier d=double comme dit au dessus par "DanBonz".

Le problème est que certains logiciels ne donnent quand même pas la fréquence réel de la/les barrette(s).
Ces logiciels utilisent les fréquences supportées par la carte mère, elle même bridé par le CPU.
Si le CPU ne supporte que du 1600 comme le miens alors vos barrettes tourneront à 1600 MHz max (800MHz).

Cependant il est possible d'O.C les barrettes sous le Bios. Certaines cartes mères utilisant le support intel possèdent des profiles d'O.C par default permettant un O.C automatique.

Attention, certains cas semblent obliger d'O.C le CPU pour pouvoir supporter des barrettes aux fréquences trop élevées pour le CPU.

Mais une fois fait le bios vous montrera la fréquence réel de vos barrettes (dans mon cas 2400 MHz (1200MHz x2)), ce qui n’empêchera pas, CPU-Z par exemple, de continuer a vous afficher 1600MHz (800MHz) car pour lui votre carte mère ne prend pas au delà donc si vous êtes a 1600 MHz ou plus alors il affichera 1600 MHz.

Certains autres logiciels (comme HWINFO64) vous affichera la fréquence réel, pour moi 1200 MHz (DRAM = 1200 MHz x2, DDR3 = 2400 MHz).
Avec certains logiciels il est même possible de tester la "puissance" de la RAM et donc de voir les fréquences, voltages, etc et voir ainsi qu'ils vous affichent directement (dans mon cas) DDR3 fréquence = 2400 MHz, DRAM = 1200 MHz, Voltage = 1.65, etc.

J'espère que ca pourra en aider certains.

PS: si les modos pouvaient voir pour éviter que d'autres ne passent les sujets en résolue trop rapidement mais laisser l'auteur du sujet s'en charger, ca serait plus clair surtout pour l'auteur si son problème n'était pas résolu (comme c'était mon cas).
