\"Image<\/span><\/span>C\u2019est aujourd\u2019hui que NVIDIA officialise sa GeForce GTX 760<\/strong>, une carte graphique qui n\u2019a pas la pr\u00e9tention de devenir la plus puissante du march\u00e9, mais plut\u00f4t de proposer un produit aux performances int\u00e9ressantes, \u00e0 un tarif lui aussi int\u00e9ressant. Le constructeur a donc choisi de r\u00e9utiliser pour cette nouvelle carte graphique un chipset qui a d\u00e9j\u00e0 quelques mois au compteur\u00a0: le GK104<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Du GK104, encore du GK104
<\/h4>\n<\/p>\n

\"Image<\/span><\/span>Apr\u00e8s les GeForce GTX 690, 680, 670, 660 Ti et 770, la GeForce GTX 760 est donc la sixi\u00e8me carte du constructeur \u00e0 utiliser ce GPU bas\u00e9 sur l\u2019architecture Kepler<\/strong>. Bien entendu, la configuration exacte du GK104 est diff\u00e9rente selon les cartes\u00a0: le nombre de CUDA Cores varie ainsi de 1344 \u00e0 1536, un mod\u00e8le de GeForce GTX 660 lanc\u00e9 l\u2019an pass\u00e9 et exclusivement destin\u00e9 aux OEM allant m\u00eame jusqu\u2019\u00e0 int\u00e9grer un chipset avec seulement 1152 CUDA Cores<\/strong> d\u2019actifs, soit six blocks SMX<\/strong> d\u2019activ\u00e9s sur les huit que compte un chipset GK104. C\u2019est justement une configuration similaire que reprend le GK104 embarqu\u00e9 sur cette GeForce GTX 760.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

En pratique, NVIDIA d\u00e9sactive donc deux Streaming Multiprocessors du GK104, mais il peut s\u2019agir de deux SMX d\u2019un m\u00eame Graphics Processing Cluster, ou bien d\u2019un SMX sur deux GPC diff\u00e9rents. Quel que soit le cas, on obtient \u00e0 la fin un chipset graphique avec 1152 CUDA Cores, 96 unit\u00e9s de texturing, quatre clusters ROP et quatre contr\u00f4leurs m\u00e9moires 64-bits agr\u00e9g\u00e9s en une seule interface 256-bit. Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la m\u00e9moire justement, la GTX 760 de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence embarque 2 Go de m\u00e9moire GDDR5<\/strong> cadenc\u00e9e \u00e0 1502 MHz, soit une bande passante de 192,2 Go\/s. Le GK104 de la GeForce GTX 760 est quant \u00e0 lui cadenc\u00e9 \u00e0 980 MHz, avec un Boost r\u00e9gl\u00e9 \u00e0 1033 MHz. Si la carte de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de NVIDIA mesure 24,1 cm de long, le PCB lui-m\u00eame est relativement plus court puisqu\u2019il ne fait que 17,1 cm.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Refroidissement et alimentation<\/h4>\n<\/p>\n

\"Image<\/span><\/span> Le constructeur a en outre choisi d\u2019utiliser un ventilateur centrifuge<\/strong> expulsant la chaleur par l’arri\u00e8re de la carte, via le panneau de connectique. On regrettera au passage que les partenaires de NVIDIA n\u2019aient pas tous repris ce choix pour leurs propres mod\u00e8les, certains pr\u00e9f\u00e9rant utiliser un ventirad de type axial qui a la f\u00e2cheuse habitude de r\u00e9injecter l\u2019air chaud dans le bo\u00eetier\u2026<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

C\u00f4t\u00e9 alimentation, la GeForce GTX 760 affiche un TDP de 170 watts<\/strong> malgr\u00e9 ses deux SMX d\u00e9sactiv\u00e9s. Du coup, cette carte n\u00e9cessite deux connecteurs d\u2019alimentation PCI-Express 6-pin pour fonctionner. Deux sorties DVI (une DVI-D et une DVI-I) sont enfin pr\u00e9sentes, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de sorties HDMI et DisplayPort. Ces quatre sorties sont bien entendu utilisables simultan\u00e9ment.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Les performances dans les jeux
<\/h4>\n<\/p>\n

C\u00f4t\u00e9 performances dans les jeux vid\u00e9o, la GTX 760 ne surprend pas vraiment puisque son chipset GK104 est maintenant bien connu. Elle parvient ainsi \u00e0 \u00eatre tr\u00e8s l\u00e9g\u00e8rement plus rapide que les Radeon HD 7950 Boost, GeForce GTX 660 Ti et Radeon HD 7950 sous Battlefield 3 (en 1920 x 1080, Ultra Detail Preset, 4xMSAA) ou BioShock Infinite (1920 x 1080, Ultra Detail Preset), et r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement au m\u00eame niveau que ces cartes dans Borderlands 2 (o\u00f9 elle arrive juste derri\u00e8re les GTX 660 Ti et Radeon HD 7950 Boost), Crysis 3 (au m\u00eame niveau qu\u2019une Radeon HD 7950 Boost), Far Cry 3 (o\u00f9 elle d\u00e9passe la Radeon HD 7950 Boost et arrive juste derri\u00e8re la GTX 660 Ti) ou encore Metro\u00a0: Last Night.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Les performances en OpenGL dans les benchmarks Unigine Heaven 4 et Sanctuary de la GTX 760 la placent sans surprise \u2013 compte tenu de ses caract\u00e9ristiques techniques – entre la GeForce GTX 660 Ti et la GeForce GTX 670. Sous SolidWorks, toujours en OpenGL, la GTX 760 d\u00e9passe la GTX 660 Ti et arrive juste derri\u00e8re la GTX 780.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, AutoCAD 2013 (DirectX) ne montre pas de diff\u00e9rence flagrante en performances 2D entre les GTX 660 Ti, GTX 770, GTX 760, GTX 670 et m\u00eame la GeForce Titan, tandis qu\u2019en 3D la GTX 760 d\u00e9passe la GTX 660 Ti et arrive derri\u00e8re les GTX 670 et GTX 680.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

CUDA et OpenCL<\/h4>\n<\/p>\n

Les performances dans les logiciels utilisant CUDA de la GeForce GTX 760 sont \u00e9galement conformes aux attentes compte tenu des caract\u00e9ristiques du chipset GK104 utilis\u00e9\u00a0: la carte se place entre les GTX 660 Ti et GTX 670, mais reste en toute logique bien plus lente que les GTX 780 et GeForce Titan. En OpenCL en revanche, le \u00ab\u00a0faible\u00a0\u00bb nombre de CUDA Cores de la GTX 760 ne joue pas en sa faveur\u00a0: la carte arrive derri\u00e8re la GTX 660 Ti, et ce malgr\u00e9 une plus grande bande passante.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

En conclusion, le principal int\u00e9r\u00eat de cette GeForce GTX 760 reste son prix<\/strong>\u00a0: avec des performances situ\u00e9es entre la GeForce GTX 660 Ti et la GeForce GTX 670 et un tarif de 239 euros, elle affiche un rapport performances\/prix<\/strong> assez int\u00e9ressant. Elle vient m\u00eame jouer sur les platebandes de la Radeon HD 7950 Boost d\u2019AMD, une carte dont les performances sont globalement similaires \u00e0 la nouvelle carte de NVIDIA, mais qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie en revanche du programme Never Settle d’AMD…<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
