Les nouveaux GPU Pascal mobile sont l\u00e0, et ils promettent de faire tr\u00e8s mal sur le march\u00e9 des portables. Des puces si puissantes qu’elles sont pour l’instant sans concurrence dans le secteur. Notez qu’elles ne sont plus du tout affubl\u00e9es du suffixe \u00ab M \u00bb. Et pour cause, elles ont le m\u00eame nombre de coeurs CUDA (et m\u00eame plus pour la GTX 1070), \u00e0 des fr\u00e9quences l\u00e9g\u00e8rement moins \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents GPU Maxwell sont d\u00e9sormais totalement d\u00e9pass\u00e9s par cette nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de GPU Pascal, que NVIDIA annonce 76 % plus rapide. Chaque puce est toujours grav\u00e9es en 16 nm, car ce sont bien les m\u00eames GPU que ceux pour PC fixe : GP104 et GP106 ! NVIDIA reste toutefois tr\u00e8s vague sur le TDP de chacune des ces puces. Se contentant de dire qu’elles entrent dans la m\u00eame enveloppe thermique que les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes GTX 970M, 980M et 980 mobiles.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Premier test de la GTX 1080 mobile<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n

Nous avons effectu\u00e9 un premier benchmark de la GeForce GTX 1080 mobile sur un portable Clevo. Les r\u00e9sultats sont tr\u00e8s encourageants. Il nous semble toutefois que le GPU le plus int\u00e9ressant pourrait bien \u00eatre la version juste en dessous : la GeForce GTX 1070 mobile et ses 2048 coeurs CUDA pour compenser ses fr\u00e9quences inf\u00e9rieures. Une puce qui laisse d’ailleurs imaginer une \u00ab GTX 1070 Ti \u00bb pour PC de bureau, avec des fr\u00e9quences revues \u00e0 la hausse…<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Autre puce plus \u00ab milieu de gamme \u00bb, la GTX 1060 pourrait aussi faire son effet chez les gamers. La carte est identique \u00e0 son homologue pour PC de bureau, m\u00eame pour sa partie m\u00e9moire, avec des fr\u00e9quences toutefois inf\u00e9rieures.
