Il n\u2019aura pas fallu longtemps pour que le tout nouveau supercalculateur \u00ab\u00a0de poche\u00a0\u00bb<\/a> – ou presque \u2013 de NVIDIA fasse son apparition dans la base de donn\u00e9es du benchmark Geekbench. C\u2019est donc l\u2019occasion de d\u00e9couvrir ce que le DGX-1V<\/strong> et ses huit GPU Tesla V100<\/strong> ont dans le ventre.<\/span><\/p>\n

Les performances CUDA et OpenCL explosent<\/span><\/h3>\n

Avec sa gravure en 12nm, ses Tensor Cores, sa m\u00e9moire HBM 2.0 ou encore ses interconnections NVLINK 2.0, l\u2019architecture Volta de NVIDIA est tr\u00e8s clairement optimis\u00e9e pour le Deep Learning et le GPGPU plus globalement, et cela se voit tr\u00e8s clairement dans les r\u00e9sultats. <\/span><\/p>\n

En effet, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 huit Tesla P100 (des GPU bas\u00e9s sur l\u2019ancienne g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Pascal) culminaient \u00e0 un score CUDA de 320\u00a0031, les Tesla V100 d\u2019un syst\u00e8me DGX-1V atteignent 743\u00a0537 points dans le m\u00eame test CUDA<\/a>, et 481\u00a0504 en OpenCL<\/a>. Gardons en t\u00eate qu\u2019un an seulement s\u00e9pare les Tesla P100 (Pascal) et V100 (Volta)\u00a0: l\u2019\u00e9volution des performances est impressionnante\u00a0!<\/span><\/p>\n
