Petite surprise, nos confr\u00e8res chez AnandTech<\/a> ont appris que l\u2019augmentation du nombre de c\u0153urs n\u2019est pas la pas seule nouveaut\u00e9 propos\u00e9e par les CPU Coffee Lake Refresh<\/a>. Apr\u00e8s avoir remarqu\u00e9 que les prochains PC de bureau HP pouvaient proposer deux fois plus de m\u00e9moire RAM qu\u2019\u00e0 leur habitude, Anandtech a demand\u00e9 des explications. Peu de temps apr\u00e8s, Intel s\u2019est exprim\u00e9 pour confirmer que le contr\u00f4leur m\u00e9moire des processeurs de 9\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration peut maintenant supporter jusqu\u2019\u00e0 128 Go de RAM.<\/p>\n

Support possible avec d\u2019autres CPU\u00a0?<\/h3>\n

Ce support pour 128 Go de RAM nous explique pourquoi des barrettes de 32 Go ont r\u00e9cemment \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9voil\u00e9es chez Samsung, G.Skill et Zadak. Cependant, encore beaucoup de choses restent inconnues concernant ce nouveau standard. On ne sait pas encore s\u2019il n\u2019est compatible qu\u2019avec les Coffee Lake Refresh ou si d\u2019autres CPU sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00eats \u00e0 l\u2019adopter. Notez que AMD avait annonc\u00e9 il y a quelque temps que le contr\u00f4leur m\u00e9moire de ses processeurs Ryzen pourrait supporter de futurs types de m\u00e9moires.
