Il est clair que le dernier processeur Intel Core i9-9900K a tendance \u00e0 chauffer tout particuli\u00e8rement malgr\u00e9 la soudure entre son die et sa capsule IHS. Pour v\u00e9rifier si cette nouvelle soudure \u00e9tait vraiment efficace, Der8auer<\/a> et Gamers Nexus<\/a> ont d\u00e9capsul\u00e9 leur Core i9-9900K.<\/p>\n\n

En rempla\u00e7ant les mat\u00e9riaux de conductivit\u00e9 thermique soud\u00e9s (sTIM) par de la p\u00e2te thermique, Gamers Nexus a constat\u00e9 une augmentation des temp\u00e9ratures du CPU d\u2019environ 5\u00b0C.\u00a0 \u00c0 l\u2019inverse, Der8auer a badigeonn\u00e9 son processeur de m\u00e9tal liquide et a constat\u00e9 une baisse des temp\u00e9ratures de l\u2019ordre des 8\u00b0C. La nouvelle solution d\u2019Intel est donc plus int\u00e9ressante (et indispensable) pour le grand public, mais pas assez pour les overclockeurs extr\u00eames.<\/p>\n\n

Un die plus \u00e9pais<\/h3>\n\n

Lors de ses tests, Der8auer s\u2019est rendu compte que le die des CPU Intel de 9\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e9tait plus \u00e9pais que celui de ses pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseurs (0,87 mm au lieu de 0,42 mm). D\u2019apr\u00e8s, lui si ce CPU chauffe beaucoup, c\u2019est aussi \u00e0 cause de cette \u00e9paisseur doubl\u00e9e. <\/p>\n\n

En r\u00e9duisant l\u2019\u00e9paisseur du die de 0,20 mm, il a pu constater une baisse de la temp\u00e9rature du CPU d\u2019environ 5\u00b0C. Der8auer dit, en revanche, ne pas savoir si Intel \u00e9tait oblig\u00e9 de penser ses dies plus \u00e9paisses \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 leur largeur suppl\u00e9mentaire (19,4mm au lieu de 16,6 mm), ou si cette hauteur de 0,87 mm \u00e9tait n\u00e9cessaire pour une meilleure application de la soudure.<\/p>\n\n<\/p>\n\n
