Les PC fixes ont beau ne pas bouger, on ne pas toujours les connecter via un c\u00e2ble Ethernet. Une carte WiFi est alors n\u00e9cessaire et dans le genre, la derni\u00e8re Asus PCE-AC88 est ce qui se fait de mieux. Cette carte PCI-Express 1x est en effet capable de d\u00e9livrer jusqu’\u00e0 2,1 Gbit\/s sur la bande des 5 GHz !<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Ne pas oublier le routeur compatible<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n

Pour r\u00e9aliser cette prouesse, Asus a implant\u00e9 4 antennes et un chipset Broadcom BCM4366<\/strong>, compatible WiFi n\/ac, double bande (2,4 GHz et 5 GHz) et MU-MIMO<\/strong><\/a>. La bande des 5 GHz est la plus performante, mais le d\u00e9bit th\u00e9orique atteint tout de m\u00eame 1 Gbit\/s sur la bande 2,4 GHz. Au total – et m\u00eame si ce calcul n’a pas vraiment de sens en pratique – la PCE-AC88 peut donc d\u00e9livrer 3,1 Gbit\/s. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Attention cependant : pour atteindre ces d\u00e9bits, il faudra un routeur WiFi \u00e0 la hauteur, compatible notamment avec la modulation 1024 QAM. Asus a son catalogue un RT-AC88U, parfaitement adapt\u00e9.
