Alors que le PCIe 4.0 arrive via les cartes m\u00e8res X570, le PCI-SIG respecte son calendrier et d\u00e9voile les sp\u00e9cifications PCI Express 5.0. Une annonce qui symbolise la volont\u00e9 de l\u2019organisme d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le d\u00e9veloppement et la publication des normes. En effet, celle-ci intervient seulement deux ans apr\u00e8s celle du PCIe 4.0. \u00c0 titre de comparaison, le PCIe 3.0 datait de 2010 ! Le PCIe 5.0 suit la m\u00eame voie que son pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur et double la bande passante. La vitesse atteint 32 GT\/s contre 16 GT\/s pour le PCIe 4.0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Construit sur le standard PCIe 4.0, le standard PCIe 5.0 fait dans la continuit\u00e9. Comme pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 ci-dessus, le taux de transfert monte \u00e0 32 GT\/s. Cela donne du 4 Go\/sec pour un slot PCIe x1, et jusqu\u2019\u00e0 64 Go\/s environ pour du PCIe x16 en unidirectionnel. Il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, 4 Go\/sec repr\u00e9sentait la bande passante d\u2019un emplacement PCIe 1.0 x16. La grande question est bien s\u00fbr de savoir quand le PCIe 5.0 d\u00e9barquera dans nos machines. Au plus t\u00f4t, cela devrait arriver vers 2021. On devrait en apprendre plus le 18 juin, date \u00e0 laquelle se tiendra la conf\u00e9rence annuelle des d\u00e9veloppeurs du PCI-SIG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
