Nous avions \u00e9crit un article assez ravageur<\/a> sur l’\u00e9tat des BIOS lors de la sortie des Ryzen 3000, et le probl\u00e8me se confirme. Deux mois apr\u00e8s, AMD confirme la pr\u00e9sence d’un soucis sur les fr\u00e9quences boost, trop faibles, des processeurs Ryzen 3000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’entreprise promet de tout solutionner avec de nouveaux BIOS arm\u00e9s d’un nouvel AGESA, ce fameux microcode qui d\u00e9termine la mani\u00e8re dont les Ryzen 3000 se comportent en pratique. La disponibilit\u00e9 de ces BIOS sera annonc\u00e9e le 10 septembre prochain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comportement myst\u00e9rieux<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s nos nombreux tests, nous n’avons toujours pas cern\u00e9s le comportement r\u00e9el des Ryzen 3000. Et pour cause, tout d\u00e9pend d’un microcode AGESA assez obscur, et d’une int\u00e9raction que les fabricants ont du mal \u00e0 g\u00e9rer avec le BIOS de leurs cartes m\u00e8res. Notamment en cause, le rapport entre les sondes d’alimentation de la carte m\u00e8re et celles du processeur. Les taux de rapport ne sont pas toujours synchronis\u00e9s, et les valeurs rapport\u00e9es ne sont pas toujours identiques. Bref, c’est encore un peu le “bordel”. Voici la d\u00e9claration d’AMD :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AMD est satisfait du succ\u00e8s de ses processeurs AMD Ryzen de troisi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e0 destination des utilisateurs enthousiastes et des joueurs PC. S\u2019agissant de nos produits, nous suivons avec int\u00e9r\u00eat les retours de notre communaut\u00e9 et nous comprenons que certains utilisateurs de processeurs AMD Ryzen de troisi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration constatent des fr\u00e9quences boost en de\u00e7\u00e0 des fr\u00e9quences boost attendues. Tandis que la fr\u00e9quence boost processeur d\u00e9pend de plusieurs variables et notamment la charge de travail, le design du syst\u00e8me utilis\u00e9 ou la solution de refroidissement, nous avons attentivement examin\u00e9 les retours de nos clients et mis en lumi\u00e8re un souci dans notre firmware qui r\u00e9duit dans certains cas la fr\u00e9quence boost. Nous pr\u00e9parons actuellement une mise \u00e0 jour BIOS pour nos partenaires fabricants de cartes m\u00e8res afin de r\u00e9soudre ce probl\u00e8me tout en incluant des optimisations additionnelles pour les performances boost.
