Gigabyte officialise son Aorus Gen4 AIC<\/a> pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e lors du Computex. Pour rappel, il s\u2019agit d\u2019une carte con\u00e7ue pour accueillir jusqu’\u00e0 quatre SSD NVMe<\/a> de 2 To, soit 8 To au total. Les vitesses de lecture et d\u2019\u00e9criture s\u00e9quentielles d\u00e9passent les 15 Go\/s en configuration RAID 0. Les vitesses de lecture et d\u2019\u00e9criture al\u00e9atoires atteignent 430 000\/440 000 IOPS. Les SSD qui peuvent y prendre place sont au format M.2-2280. La carte embarque des contr\u00f4leurs PS5016-E16 de Phison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afin de garder toute ce beau monde au frais, Gigabyte a opt\u00e9 pour un refroidissement actif. On retrouve ainsi un grand dissipateur thermique en cuivre associ\u00e9 \u00e0 un ventilateur de 50 mm. Huit capteurs thermiques surveillent le bon fonctionnement du syst\u00e8me et envoient les informations au logiciel Aorus Storage Manager. L\u2019utilisateur peut opter pour trois modes : Silencieux, \u00c9quilibr\u00e9 et Performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En revanche, comme on l\u2019expliquait et le faisait remarquer un lecteur dans la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente actu, il y a une contrainte technique \u00e0 prendre en consid\u00e9ration. Cette carte PCIe Gen 4 utilise une interface PCI-Express 4.0 x16. Ainsi, pour en profiter pleinement avec un processeur Ryzen 3000<\/a> il faut l\u2019installer dans l\u2019emplacement PCIe 4.0 x16 d’une carte m\u00e8re. Un slot ordinairement destin\u00e9 \u00e0 la carte graphique, car toute installation sur un autre port limiterait la carte en 4x. Il faudra donc se passer de carte graphique puissante (en mettre une en 4x)… Ou alors attendre les prochains Threadripper et leurs 128 lignes PCIe 4.0 !<\/p>\n\n\n\n
