On connaissait l\u2019EPYC 7742<\/a>. Un processeur 64 c\u0153urs et 128 threads capable d\u2019encoder en 8K HEVC \u00e0 79 ips et qui bat les records sur Cinebench R20. La puce a peut-\u00eatre trouv\u00e9 son ma\u00eetre. En effet, AMD vient d\u2019annoncer le 7H12. Concr\u00e8tement, il s\u2019agit d\u2019un EPYC 7742 avec une fr\u00e9quence de base plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e. Ce dernier se destine donc \u00e0 des serveurs refroidis par liquide.

Une puce qui bat d\u00e9j\u00e0 des records<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cet EPYC 7H12 embarque ainsi toujours 64 c\u0153urs et 128 threads avec 256 Mo de cache L3. Il a une fr\u00e9quence Boost moindre de 100 MHz par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019EPYC 7742, avec 3,3 GHz. En revanche, ce dernier se contente de 2,25 GHz en fr\u00e9quence de base, tandis que l\u2019EPYC 7H12 monte \u00e0 2,6 GHz ! De quoi faire exploser le TDP, qui passe \u00e0 280 W au lieu de 225 W. Selon AMD, cet EPYC 7H12 offre 11 % de performances suppl\u00e9mentaires par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019EPYC 7742 sur Linpack, un logiciel de torture de processeur<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
