Alors que la place\ndu haut de gamme mobile du constructeur est actuellement occup\u00e9e par\nses SoC Snapdragon 855 et 855+, le portefeuille de Qualcomm\ns\u2019agrandit aujourd\u2019hui avec l\u2019arriv\u00e9e du Snapdragon 865, un\nmod\u00e8le encore plus performant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Snapdragon 865, le\nnouveau haut de gamme mobile de Qualcomm<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ce SoC grav\u00e9 en 7nm par TSMC regroupe plusieurs composants\u00a0: un ISP Spectra 480, un GPU Adreno 650, un DSP Hexagon 698, un CPU Kryo 585. Aucun modem 5G n\u2019est toutefois int\u00e9gr\u00e9, le Snapdragon 865 devant \u00eatre associ\u00e9 \u00e0 un modem X55 capable d\u2019atteindre 7 Gbps en r\u00e9ception et 3 Gbps en envoi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les performances du SoC atteignent selon Qualcomm les 15 TOPS, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 un Snapdragon 855 atteint 7 TOPS. Le SoC embarque 3 Mo de cache syst\u00e8me et supporte la m\u00e9moire LPDDR4 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 2133 MHz et la LPDDR5 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 2750 MHz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u00f4t\u00e9 GPU, l\u2019Adreno\n650 est annonc\u00e9 comme 20 % plus rapide, tout en am\u00e9liorant\nl\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique de 35 % par rapport \u00e0 la\ng\u00e9n\u00e9ration actuelle. Il prend en charge les \u00e9crans \u00e0 144 Hz ainsi\nque les effets de r\u00e9flexion et d\u2019ombrage complexes, afin d\u2019offrir\nune qualit\u00e9 graphique \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 un GPU de bureau. Le DSP\nHexagon 698, d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019intelligence artificielle, est de son\nc\u00f4t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9 comme quatre fois plus performant et avec une\nefficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique am\u00e9lior\u00e9e de 35 %.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le CPU Kryo 585 regroupe quant \u00e0 lui 4 coeurs Cortex-A77 hautes performances (trois \u00ab Gold \u00bb tournant au maximum \u00e0 2,4 GHz et dot\u00e9s de 256 Ko de cache L2, le dernier \u00ab Gold Prime \u00bb pouvant monter jusqu\u2019\u00e0 2,84 GHz et b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiant de deux fois plus de cache L2) et quatre coeurs Cortex-A55 \u00ab Silver \u00bb tournant \u00e0 1,8 GHz au maximum. Chaque coeur cortex-A55 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie en outre de 128 Ko de cache L2. Le tout est accompagn\u00e9 de 4 Mo de cache L3. Qualcomm annonce que les performances sont 25 % sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 celles de la gamme pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente de SoC, tandis que l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique est am\u00e9lior\u00e9e de 25 % \u00e9galement<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au del\u00e0 des performances, Qualcomm a port\u00e9 une attention particuli\u00e8re \u00e0 la partie image\/vid\u00e9o. En pouvant transf\u00e9rer 4 pixels par cycle d\u2019horloge l\u00e0 o\u00f9 la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente \u00e9tait limit\u00e9e \u00e0 un pixel par cycle, l\u2019ISP Spectra 480 atteint ainsi un taux de transfert de 2 gigapixels par seconde, tout en fonctionnant \u00e0 une fr\u00e9quence inf\u00e9rieure. Il est donc \u00e0 la fois plus rapide et plus \u00e9conome en \u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En pratique, cet ISP prend en charge les capteurs de 200 Mpixels au maximum, ainsi que les vid\u00e9os 4K \u00e0 120 IPS, 8K et Dolby Vision. Il peut capturer des s\u00e9quences vid\u00e9o en 960 images par seconde sans limite de dur\u00e9e, et est m\u00eame capable de capturer simultan\u00e9ment un flux vid\u00e9o 4K HDR et des photos de 64 Mpixels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Snapdragon 765(G) :\ndu jeu pour le milieu de gamme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A c\u00f4t\u00e9 du\nSnapdragon 865, Qualcomm pr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement un autre SoC destin\u00e9\nau march\u00e9 de milieu de gamme : le Snapdragon 765. Equip\u00e9 d\u2019un\nmodem 5G multi-mode X52 int\u00e9gr\u00e9, il est compatible avec l\u2019ensemble\ndes bandes 5G utilis\u00e9es dans le monde et peut atteindre une bande\npassante maximale de 3,7 Gbps en t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Snapdragon 765 et son \u00ab AI Engine \u00bb de cinqui\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration regroupe un CPU Kryo 475 (un coeur \u00ab Prime \u00bb \u00e0 2,3 GHz, un coeur \u00ab Performance \u00bb \u00e0 2,2 GHz et six coeurs \u00ab Efficiency \u00bb \u00e0 1,8 GHz), un GPU Adreno 620 (plus performant et plus efficace de 20%, supportant les \u00e9crans FHD+ 120 Hz) et un DSP Hexagon 696, le tout grav\u00e9 en 7nm EUV (7LPP) par Samsung. Les performances atteignent 5,5 TOPS. L\u2019ISP permet de capturer des s\u00e9quences vid\u00e9o 4K HDR, avec un framerate maximal de 480 IPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enfin, un SoC Snapdragon 765G fait \u00e9galement son apparition, avec des performances similaires (5,5 TOPS) mais un GPU Adreno 650 plus puissant (+38%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
