On regrettait l\u2019absence de d\u00e9tails concernant les CPU Comet Lake-S<\/a> \u00e0 la conf\u00e9rence Intel du CES, ils ont fini par faire parler d\u2019eux malgr\u00e9 tout. Selon ComputerBase<\/a>, les fabricants de cartes m\u00e8res seraient pr\u00eats avec leur nouvelle plate-forme Z490<\/strong> mais Intel rencontrerait des probl\u00e8mes avec ses CPU 14 nm \u00e0 dix c\u0153urs physiques<\/strong>. Le Core i9-10900K<\/strong>, futur \u00e9tendard de la gamme, consommerait en effet jusqu\u2019\u00e0 300 W<\/strong> sur ses vingt threads. Une valeur \u00e9lev\u00e9e pour un processeur \u201cgrand public\u201d : le Core i9-9900KS de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Coffee Lake-S Refresh tutoie les 250 W dans les m\u00eames conditions.

Les CPU Comet Lake-S et le chipset Z490 pr\u00e9vus pour avril 2020<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

B\u00e2tis autour du nouveau socket LGA1200 et du chipset Z490, les processeurs Comet Lake-S constituent en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 l\u2019ultime tentative d\u2019Intel d\u2019optimiser la gravure 14 nm. Le Core i9-10900K embarque ainsi 10 c\u0153urs (soit 20 threads, avec l\u2019HyperThreading), avec une fr\u00e9quence de base de 3,7 GHz boost\u00e9e \u00e0 5,2 GHz sur un seul c\u0153ur. Sur tous les c\u0153urs \u00e0 la fois, il est capable de fonctionner \u00e0 4,8 GHz. Une telle surconsommation ne serait donc pas \u00e9tonnante, la puce (et l’architecture) \u00e9tant ici pouss\u00e9e dans ses derniers retranchements. Les CPU sont toujours pr\u00e9vus pour avril prochain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
