Si cette famille de puces promet de belles performances, notamment gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la g\u00e9n\u00e9ralisation de l\u2019Hyper Threading aux Core i5 et i3 notamment, elle s\u2019annonce en revanche particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9nergivore. D\u00e9j\u00e0 en d\u00e9but d\u2019ann\u00e9e, on d\u00e9couvrait que les CPU \u00e0 10 c\u0153urs consommeraient jusqu\u2019\u00e0 300W<\/a>. Plus r\u00e9cemment, on a su qu\u2019une puce Comet Lake-S avec un TDP de 35 W engloutissait jusqu\u2019\u00e0 123W<\/a>. Le Core i9-10900F, qui a un TDP de 65W, semble lui aussi avoir une app\u00e9tence particuli\u00e8re pour l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9.
