Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, Intel r\u00e9servait son jeu d\u2019instructions AVX2 aux processeurs Core et Xeon ; mais les choses changent, et il est maintenant question d\u2019une prise en charge \u00e9tendue aux Pentium Gold et Celeron Tiger Lake : en l\u2019occurrence, le Pentium Gold 7505 et le Celeron 6305.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En effet, les pages produits de ces deux r\u00e9f\u00e9rences pour PC portable mentionnent bien le support de l\u2019AVX2 et m\u00eame de l’AVX512-VNNI. Contrairement \u00e0 leurs anc\u00eatres, ces processeurs prennent en charge les instructions AVX2, la technologie Intel Deep Learning Boost (utilisant l’instruction AVX512-VNNI), ainsi que les fonctions Intel Gaussian et Neural Accelerator 2.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un iGPU Xe-LP \u00e0 48 UE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ces deux processeurs ont d\u2019ailleurs d\u2019autres atouts \u00e0 faire valoir. Grav\u00e9s en 10 nm SuperFin, ils h\u00e9ritent d\u2019un iGPU Xe-LP \u00e0 48 unit\u00e9s d\u2019ex\u00e9cution ; ils sont en mesure de g\u00e9rer jusqu\u2019\u00e0 4 \u00e9crans. Ils prennent \u00e9galement en charge la connectivit\u00e9 Thunderbolt 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Pentium Gold 7505<\/a> est un mod\u00e8le 2 c\u0153urs \/ 4 threads. Son TDP-up est de 15 W pour une fr\u00e9quence de 2 GHz. Sa fr\u00e9quence Boost grimpe \u00e0 3,5 GHz. Le Celeron 6305<\/a> est un 2 c\u0153urs \/ 2 threads. Le TDP-up est aussi de 15 W, mais la fr\u00e9quence est \u00e0 1,8 GHz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intel confirme l\u2019existence des processeurs Tiger Lake-H \u00e0 8 c\u0153urs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

De fait, jusqu\u2019ici, les processeurs Celeron et Pentium Gold d’Intel, priv\u00e9s de certains jeux d\u2019instructions pourtant disponibles sur des puces plus haut de gamme de m\u00eame g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, en p\u00e2tissent dans certains usages. Il semble donc qu\u2019Intel ait d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de changer sa strat\u00e9gie pour ses puces entr\u00e9e de gamme avec Tiger Lake. En revanche, on ignore si de prochains processeurs Pentium et Celeron pour PC fixes auront eux-aussi droit \u00e0 ce privil\u00e8ge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
