Il faut s\u2019y pr\u00e9parer : la DDR5 arrivera sur les plateformes grand public dans les prochains mois. Chez Intel, la douzi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, Alder Lake-S<\/a>, devrait y avoir droit ; chez AMD, cette norme serait introduite par les APU Van Gogh et Rembrandt. Apr\u00e8s SK Hynix qui a inaugur\u00e9 les premi\u00e8res barrettes de DDR5 en octobre 2020<\/a>, une autre soci\u00e9t\u00e9, chinoise cette fois, \u00e9chantillonne un module 64 Go de DDR5-4800.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette entreprise est Asgard, une filiale de Shenzhen Jiahe Jinwei Electronic Technology Co Ltd. Cette barrette porte le num\u00e9ro de s\u00e9rie VMA5AUK-MMH224W3. Asgard se limite pour l\u2019instant \u00e0 des capacit\u00e9s de 16 Go, 32 Go et 64 Go. Toutefois, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9voit d\u00e9j\u00e0 d’atteindre 128 Go dans les prochains mois. Ces derni\u00e8res auront toujours un d\u00e9bit de 4 800 MT\/s. Cette valeur reste modeste pour de la DDR5, vendue comment pouvant monter \u00e0 6 400 MT\/s voire 8 400 MT\/s<\/a>. Naturellement, les fr\u00e9quences des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations suivantes se rapprocheront progressivement de ces standards. En revanche, la tension est bien de 1,1 V. Ces modules sont \u00e9galement plut\u00f4t \u00e9pur\u00e9s. Il n\u2019y a ni dissipateur de chaleur, ni la moindre trace de RGB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La DDR5 chez Intel et AMD<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Comme mentionn\u00e9 ci-dessous, Intel introduirait la DDR5 sur les PC fixes avec ses chipsets s\u00e9rie 600, en fin d\u2019ann\u00e9e 2021 ou d\u00e9but 2022. Les processeurs Sapphire Rapids et Tiger Lake-U profiteront aussi de ce standard. Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 d\u2019AMD, la DDR5 pourrait accompagner les puces sous architecture Zen 4<\/a>. Grav\u00e9es en 5 nm, celles-ci introduiront un nouveau socket (AM5 ?).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
