Notre confr\u00e8re Igor Wallossek a mis la main sur \u00e9chantillon d’ing\u00e9nierie d\u2019un processeur Intel Alder Lake-S<\/a>, le Core-1800, et d\u00e9voile plusieurs de ses sp\u00e9cifications. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une puce \u00e0 16 c\u0153urs \/ 24 threads avec un TDP de 125 W.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rappelons pr\u00e9alablement les raisons pour lesquelles les processeurs Alder Lake d\u2019Intel attisent notre curiosit\u00e9 depuis plusieurs mois. La premi\u00e8re est qu\u2019ils b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019une conception hybride de type big.LITTLE. En effet, les puces de cette douzi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration embarquent deux types de c\u0153urs CPU : des petits c\u0153urs basse consommation sous architecture Gracemont et des c\u0153urs ax\u00e9s sur la performance, Golden Cove. Selon de pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes fuites, les configurations iraient jusqu\u2019\u00e0 16 c\u0153urs (8 + 8) tant pour la gamme Alder Lake-S (desktop<\/em>) que pour la gamme Alder Lake mobile<\/a>. Ajoutez \u00e0 celui une gravure en SuperFin 10 nm (une premi\u00e8re pour la gamme desktop<\/em> grand public chez Intel), la prise en charge de la m\u00e9moire DDR5 et de l\u2019interface PCIe 5.0, et vous obtenez une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration plut\u00f4t prometteuse sur le papier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Des r\u00e9sultats de benchmarks pour un syst\u00e8me Alder Lake-S associ\u00e9 \u00e0 de la DDR5-6400<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fr\u00e9quence maximale sur un et deux c\u0153urs de 4,6 GHz<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Revenons-en \u00e0 notre Intel Core-1800. La configuration \u00e0 16 c\u0153urs \/ 24 threads confirme l\u2019hypoth\u00e8se selon laquelle seuls les c\u0153urs CPU Golden Cove ont droit \u00e0 l\u2019Hyper-Threading.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cet \u00e9chantillon d\u2019ing\u00e9nierie pr\u00e9coce, r\u00e9vision B0, a une fr\u00e9quence de base de seulement 1800 MHz. En revanche, il jouit de fr\u00e9quences Boost d\u00e9j\u00e0 relativement \u00e9lev\u00e9es pour ses c\u0153urs Golden Cove : jusqu\u2019\u00e0 4,6 GHz sur 1-2 c\u0153urs, 4,4 GHz sur 3-4 c\u0153urs, 4,2 GHz sur 5-6 c\u0153urs et enfin 4 GHz lorsque les 8 c\u0153urs sont mobilis\u00e9s. Les c\u0153urs Atom basse consommation montent \u00e0 3,4 GHz sur 4 c\u0153urs, 3 GHz sur les 8 c\u0153urs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En mati\u00e8re de consommation et de tension, la derni\u00e8re est ici de 1,3147 V. Le processeur a un TDP PL1 de 125 watts, un TDP PL2 de 228 watts. La valeur Tau est de 56 secondes, comme pour les processeurs K de la gamme Comet Lake-S<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les puces Alder Lake devraient prendre place sur des chipsets s\u00e9rie 600. Ils pourraient d\u00e9barquer avant la fin d\u2019ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
