Intel avait succinctement pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 son NUC 11 Extreme, alias Beast Canyon, lors du Computex 2021<\/a> ; ce successeur du NUC Ghost Canyon est d\u00e9sormais officiellement lanc\u00e9. Le bo\u00eetier de 8 litres affiche des dimensions de 357 x 189 x 120 mm. Il h\u00e9berge un processeur Intel Tiger Lake Core i9, Core i7 ou Core i5) et, comme promis, une carte graphique d\u00e9di\u00e9e “pleine longueur”. Principale limitation : le mod\u00e8le choisi ne doit pas d\u00e9passer les 30 cm (308,4 mm pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment). Le GPU s\u2019ins\u00e8re dans l\u2019emplacement PCIe 4.0 x16 pr\u00e9vu \u00e0 cet effet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afin de combler l\u2019app\u00e9tit des composants qu\u2019il h\u00e9berge, ce NUC 11 Extreme re\u00e7oit un bloc d\u2019alimentation ITX 80 Plus Gold de 650 W et non plus seulement de 500 W comme autrefois. Le TDP maximal des processeurs propos\u00e9s ne d\u00e9passe pas 65 W ; cela laisse ainsi pas mal de marge pour la carte graphique. Par ailleurs, la carte m\u00e8re sur chipset WM590 peut accueillir jusqu’\u00e0 64 Go de m\u00e9moire DDR4-3200. Elle propose deux ports SATA III et quatre emplacements M.2 : deux sont directement reli\u00e9s au processeur en PCIe 4.0 x4 et les deux autres sont g\u00e9r\u00e9s par le chipset en PCIe 3.0 x4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Processeurs et options de connectivit\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Revenons-en aux processeurs. Intel propose trois puces 10 nm\u00a0: Core i9-11900KB<\/a>, Core i7-11700B et Core i5-11400H. Les Core i9-11900KB et Core i7-11700B affichent un TDP de 65 W\u00a0; le Core i5-11400H fonctionne quant \u00e0 lui avec un TDP de 45 W. En mati\u00e8re de connectique, sans carte graphique d\u00e9di\u00e9e, Beast Canyon offre deux ports Thunderbolt 4 et un port HDMI 2.0b. Pour l\u2019USB, il poss\u00e8de une belle armada compos\u00e9e de huit ports USB 3.1 Gen2 (six derri\u00e8re et deux devant). Niveau connectivit\u00e9, un port Ethernet 2,5 Gigabit est pr\u00e9sent. Le sans-fil passe par les normes Wi-Fi 6E et Bluetooth 5.2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le d\u00e9taillant SimplyNUC<\/a> propose un NUC11BTMi9 Full avec Intel Core i9-11900KB, 8 Go de RAM et un SSD NVMe de 256 Go \u00e0 1359 euros. Le NUC11BTMi7 Full avec Intel Core i7-11700B co\u00fbte quant \u00e0 lui 1189 euros. D\u00e9but des exp\u00e9ditions en septembre prochain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
