Intel a introduit le socket LGA-1700 pour sa 12e g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de Core, Alder Lake. Leurs successeurs, les processeurs Raptor Lake, conserveront ce socket. Nous savions que les 14e et 15e g\u00e9n\u00e9rations, respectivement Meteor Lake<\/a> et Arrow Lake<\/a>, impliqueraient un nouveau socket ; seulement nous ignorions lequel. Le site Benchlife r\u00e9v\u00e8le qu\u2019il s\u2019agirait du socket LGA-1851. Notez qu\u2019il a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 question d\u2019un socket LGA-2551 ces derniers jours. Celui-ci ferait possiblement r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 une version BGA pour ordinateurs portables, m\u00eame si aucun document officiel n\u2019\u00e9taye cette hypoth\u00e8se.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour le socket desktop LGA-1851, Benchlife propose l\u2019image ci-dessus. Elle r\u00e9v\u00e8le des dimensions de 45 x 37,5 mm, identiques \u00e0 celles du socket LGA1700. En revanche, la hauteur de l\u2019IHS (integrated heat spreader<\/em>) passerait de 6,73-7,4 mm \u00e0 6,83-7,49 mm. Cette l\u00e9g\u00e8re sur\u00e9l\u00e9vation a pour origine le fait que les puces Meteo Lake adopteront une conception de type MCM (multi-chip module) exploitant la technologie Intel Foveros. Enfin, vous l\u2019avez peut-\u00eatre remarqu\u00e9, la diapositive place la s\u00e9rie Arrow Lake avant Meteor Lake-S ; un changement de chronologie tr\u00e8s surprenant et inexplicable \u00e0 ce stade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
