Outre ses feuilles de route pour les processeurs Ryzen grand public<\/a>, AMD a \u00e9galement d\u00e9voil\u00e9 ses plans pour ses gammes de produits destin\u00e9s au secteur du HPC\u00a0( high performance computing<\/em>) ; autrement dit, les processeurs EPYC et les acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateurs Instinct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette projection jusqu’\u00e0 la fin de l’ann\u00e9e 2024 couvre plusieurs g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de puces EPYC ; pour les acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateurs Instinct, elle se limite au MI300. Cet acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur marquera une \u00e9tape importante dans l’histoire d’AMD : ce sera le premier APU de l’entreprise pour les centres de donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Processeurs EPYC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Commen\u00e7ons par les gammes EPYC. Nous le savons depuis longtemps, les processeurs EPYC Genoa<\/a> (Zen 4), attendus avant la fin d’ann\u00e9e, proposeront jusqu’\u00e0 96 c\u0153urs \/ 192 threads. AMD pr\u00e9voit ensuite, en 2023, des puces EPYC Genoa-X, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiant, \u00e0 l’instar des Milan-X<\/a>, de cache L3 suppl\u00e9mentaire ajout\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la technologie 3D V-Cache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les processeurs EPYC Bergamo offriront jusqu’\u00e0 128 c\u0153urs \/ 256 threads ; ils mobiliseront des c\u0153urs CPU Zen 4c. Les processeurs EPYC Sienna n’\u00e9taient pas connus jusqu’ici. Ils cibleront le march\u00e9 des infrastructures 5G et proposeront 64 c\u0153urs \/ 128 threads. Notez que toutes les puces EPYC Zen 4 utiliseront le socket SP5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour le secteur du HPC, l’architecture CPU Zen 5 sera inaugur\u00e9e par les processeurs EPYC Turin. La feuille de route des architectures CPU indique que les puces Turin seront grav\u00e9es en 4 nm et 3 nm et comprendront des variantes dot\u00e9es de 3D V-Cache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur MI300, premier APU d’AMD pour les centres de donn\u00e9es<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

L’AMD Instinct MI300 en 5 nm sera bien le premier APU de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 pour les centres de donn\u00e9es<\/a>. Il associe des c\u0153urs CPU Zen 4 et des c\u0153urs CDNA 3 interconnect\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la 4e g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de l\u2019Infinity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
