Mieux vaut tard que jamais : la PlayStation 5 prend enfin en charge la d\u00e9finition 1440p. Rappelons que la console de Sony est sortie en novembre 2020. Depuis son lancement, la PlayStation 5 ne supportait pas le 1440p (2560\u00d71440) nativement<\/a>. En effet, jusqu\u2019ici, elle se bornait aux d\u00e9finitions 720p, 1080i, 1080p, et 2160p. Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de ses rivales, Xbox Series X \/ S, le support du 1440p est pr\u00e9sent depuis le d\u00e9but.<\/p>\n\n\n

Une sortie 1440p native pour certains jeux<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Concernant le support du 1440p, l\u2019article publi\u00e9 sur PlayStation.blog pr\u00e9cise : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Cette version b\u00eata PS5 ajoute la prise en charge de la sortie vid\u00e9o HDMI 1440p, qui permet aux joueurs de choisir un autre param\u00e8tre d\u2019affichage sur les \u00e9crans d\u2019ordinateur et les t\u00e9l\u00e9viseurs compatibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si votre jeu prend en charge le rendu 1440p, vous pouvez profiter d\u2019une sortie 1440p native sur votre \u00e9cran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Par ailleurs, si votre jeu propose une r\u00e9solution native sup\u00e9rieure, comme la 4K, vous pouvez b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019un anticr\u00e9nelage (anti-aliasing) am\u00e9lior\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce au sur\u00e9chantillonnage vers la sortie 1440p.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour d\u00e9terminer si votre p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique HDMI est compatible, s\u00e9lectionnez “Tester la sortie 1440p” dans le menu d\u2019options “\u00c9cran et vid\u00e9o” des param\u00e8tres syst\u00e8me.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D’autres fonctionnalit\u00e9s ajout\u00e9es<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La prise en charge de la r\u00e9solution 1440p n’est pas la seule nouvelle fonctionnalit\u00e9 apport\u00e9e par cette version b\u00eata. Citons, entre autres, la possibilit\u00e9 “de cr\u00e9er des listes de jeux pour organiser vos jeux encore plus facilement”<\/em> dans la Biblioth\u00e8que de jeux\u00a0; de demander “aux membres d\u2019une Party de lancer le Partage d\u2019\u00e9cran pour regarder leur gameplay”<\/em>\u00a0; “de comparer l\u2019audio 3D et l\u2019audio st\u00e9r\u00e9o depuis un m\u00eame \u00e9cran, afin de choisir votre param\u00e8tre pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9”<\/em>. La mise \u00e0 jour simplifie \u00e9galement l’acc\u00e8s aux activit\u00e9s en cours via une mise en \u00e9vidence de celles-ci “au sommet du portail des jeux”<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
