Si de prime abord, le TGP de 450 W de la GeForce RTX 4090<\/a> peut sembler gargantuesque, les tests le d\u00e9montrent, la carte graphique propose, comme la GeForce RTX 4080, un excellent rapport performance \/ watt ; tellement bon qu\u2019AMD n\u2019a finalement pas os\u00e9 attaquer les GeForce RTX 4000 sur leur efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique.<\/a> En pratique, r\u00e9duire la limite de puissance de la GeForce RTX 4090 n\u2019a donc pas une \u00e9norme incidence dans les jeux, puisque dans ces conditions, la carte ne consomme jamais autant que son TGP l’y autorise (350 W environ). Le site QuasarZone a tent\u00e9 une approche un peu plus complexe : le sous-voltage. Les r\u00e9sultats montrent que cette technique est la meilleure pour am\u00e9liorer l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique de la GeForce RTX 4090.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le testeur a mis \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve la carte graphique dans cinq jeux (Cyberpunk 2077<\/a>, Marvel Spider-Man Remastered, Forza Horizon 5, Lostark, PUBG Battlegrounds<\/a>) en UHD \/ Max afin que le GPU repr\u00e9sente le facteur limitant. La plateforme de test mobilise un Core i9-13900K<\/a> et 32 Go de DDR5-7400. Les r\u00e9sultats de l\u2019image de gauche rel\u00e8vent les fr\u00e9quences d\u2019images moyennes et ceux de l\u2019image de droite les 1\u00a0% les plus basses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comparaison sous-voltage \/ limite de puissance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Les deux courbes ci-dessus comparent les valeurs obtenues selon la m\u00e9thode utilis\u00e9e. Vous le constatez, le sous-voltage donne les meilleurs r\u00e9sultats. Avec une baisse de consommation d\u2019environ 110 W, les performances diminuent de seulement 8 %.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abaisser la limite de puissance d’une carte graphique n\u2019est pas compliqu\u00e9 et ne repr\u00e9sente aucun risque. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un logiciel de contr\u00f4le de cartes graphiques<\/a> comme MSI Afterburner, il suffit de bouger un curseur. Le sous-voltage est une manipulation plus complexe et plus p\u00e9rilleuse. Quoi qu\u2019il en soit, gageons que la plupart de ceux qui ont acquis une GeForce RTX 4090 pour jouer ne souhaitent pas d\u00e9grader ses performances juste pour gagner 100 W.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
