Au Computex, tandis que MSI a \u00e9tal\u00e9 ses prochains refroidisseurs pour GPU haut de gamme<\/a>, Adata a expos\u00e9 ses prochains modules m\u00e9moire. L\u2019entreprise a d\u00e9taill\u00e9 trois solutions\u00a0: CXL (Compute Express Link<\/em>), CAMM (Compression Attached Memory Module<\/em>) et MR-DIMM (Multi-Ranked Buffered DIMM<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n

CAMM, de la m\u00e9moire pour les PC portables ultra-fins<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pour ceux qui l\u2019ignorent, la CAMM<\/a> est un type de m\u00e9moire destin\u00e9 \u00e0 remplacer la m\u00e9moire SO-DIMM au sein des PC portables ultra-fins. Dell vante ce format depuis plusieurs mois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En mars dernier, le JEDEC a annonc\u00e9 \u00ab l’extension de son programme de normalisation des CAMM aux CAMM empilables [dual-channel (DC) et single-channel (SC) CAMM] et \u00e0 la prise en charge de la LPDDR5 \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans le communiqu\u00e9, Mian Quddus, pr\u00e9sident du conseil d’administration du JEDEC, d\u00e9clarait que \u00ab ces extensions garantissent que la norme CAMM r\u00e9pond aux besoins de tous les cas d’utilisation et peut \u00e9voluer dans le futur \u00bb. Tom Schnell, pr\u00e9sident du groupe de travail CAMM du JEDEC, ajoutait : \u00ab La norme commune CAMM inclura la DDR5 et la LPDDR5 dans les m\u00eames documents afin d’assurer la coh\u00e9rence, et elles seront publi\u00e9es ensemble dans le courant de l’ann\u00e9e. Les nouvelles conceptions auront plus de choix de modularit\u00e9 que jamais auparavant \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e9moire CXL et MR-DIMM<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La m\u00e9moire CXL 1.1 d\u2019Adata, de type 3D Nand, utilise une interface PCIe 5.0 x4 et un facteur de forme E3.S. Bref, c\u2019est de la m\u00e9moire sous forme de module PCIe qui se pr\u00e9sente comme une solution d\u2019extension relativement peu on\u00e9reuse pour augmenter la capacit\u00e9 au sein de syst\u00e8mes d\u00e9j\u00e0 construits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enfin, les modules MR-DIMM serviront de m\u00e9moire pour la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de serveurs avec des d\u00e9bits de 8 400 MT\/s et des capacit\u00e9s de 16, 32, 64, 128 et 192 Go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
